New games in the main gameseries (RTS)

Ah yes. RTS...
First off let me tell you that I'm a big fan of the AoE and C&C RA series so I might get a little defencive.
Alright First off Age of Empires one of my favourite RTS games ever released.
It started with Ago of Empires number uno. I was a little kid back then but I loved the game so much. But I didn't have it my friend did. Age of Empires just had the cool feeling to start going up the ages of war. Stone , Bronze and Iron(or steel?).
Then somehow I didn't know there ever was a second Age of Empires before I saw Age of Empires 3 in the shop. Ofcourse I bought AoE2 first. Age of Empires... Those words were exact with this game. All the new troops sides and expansions Native American ads. I just fell in love with that game. (I am skipping Age of Mythologies becouse I haven't played it alot). Then ... THEN they made AoE3... I really don't think its suitable as a AoE game. I mean its about america its not really Age of Empires anymore. Its age of exploration. Don't take me wrong I do like the game but it just ain't as good as Age of Empires 1 & 2 were.
Oh and about their campaigns. Ago of Empires 1&2 had so hard campaigns I never completed more than 1 or 2 of them. Age of Empires 3 in the other hand was kinda easy. No idea why.

Then we get to C&C and C&C Red Alert series.
First off C&C and C&C Red Alert the first ones.
I like both of them. They do have a bit out dated graphics these days but their feeling , story and plot all great. They both are made with the same engine (I believe?) so I can't really compare them too much. But RA takes the win with the awesome plot and char Tanya.
I got C&C first decade a while ago so I have not really got too much experience about the other early games.
Then RA2 and C&C Generals.
Red alert 2 is if not my top 1 favourite game its top 2. Red Alert 2 had awesome graphics when I played it first time and even now it has ok graphics for an old game. Its plot is as awesome as Red Alert number uno. But I think Red Alert 2 is a bit easier... Maybe its just me.
And ofcourse there is Tanya My favourite unit in the game.
C&C Generals... I like the game and play it with The77s but it just ain't as cool as RA2. Its biggest empty space is the fact there are no people acting it like RA series does. And I wonder why is there no Europe in it in any shape or form? Nice game but I like Red Alert 2 more.
(I have not played any newer C&C games except RA3 so I leave it out. RA3 is good game but its not great and its trying to be good game too hard.)

Then some of the other RTS games...
Company of Heroes. Great game but really hard in my opinion. It has nice plot and campaign.
And I like how much you have you do in it. but its a hard game so if you are good at RTS games go and try it out.

I think I need to pull in Warcraft 3 too... (I have not played Warcraft 1&2 so I can't really compare...)
Warcraft 3... It does have a campaign but its plot really ain't that special...
Warcraft 3 is a really good game becouse its modifieing chance. Its multiplayer and custom games is real fun. Thats why we play it ALOT.

Then there are the caesar games which I don't play becouse I don't really care about them.

One of less popular game called Port Royale though.
Its a really interesting game. you basically play in the caribean with the pirates and stuff.
Its really hard to play without any tutorial but after you get into it its really much fun.
Go and try it :).

I think thats all I want to say about the RTS games.
Next time I see which games I review.
